Heated Privacy Volunteer Form

Hi Heated Privacy Volunteer Team!


First, thank you all so much for volunteering your precious time to help out at the LGBTQ+ & Allies After Party, Heated Privacy! We couldn't make this event possible without the dedication and support of all our amazing volunteers, thank you!


Logistics: 

Date: Monday, March 30th, 2026

Event Time: 8:30PM - 1:00AM 

Location: Pitchers, D.C., 2317 18th St NW, Washington DC, 20009


Age requirement: Volunteers must be 21+ due to the bar venue and alcohol service.


Reminder: By securing your complimentary volunteer ticket, you are committing to assist at Heated Privacy in Washington D.C. on March 30th, 2026. This includes a time commitment to 60 minutes of volunteer work (we will not ask you to extend your help unless you would like to).

Decorating and setting up the venue on March 30th:

Volunteers will meet at Pitchers (2317 18th St NW) and assist with pre-event set up.

Registering tickets/handing out wristbands at the door on March 30th:

This will be during the party. You will be required to check guests in, giving them wristbands, and explaining the space (alongside another volunteers from LGBT Tech or SMYAL).

Photo and Social Crew on March 30th:

Encourage photos, manage backdrops, capture content, and prompt guests to tag/share. Helps boost reach in real time.

Volunteers can:

  • Take candid photos + short videos

  • Grab quick attendee testimonials (“Why did you come tonight?”)

  • Capture sponsor activations

  • Film crowd moments, drag performances, DJ clips

Drag Queen/DJ Performer Support on March 30th:

Assist drag performers with timing, hospitality, and transitions throughout the night. Coordinate communication between the queens and event organizers, support green room needs, and help collect tips from the floor after performances.

Floaters (Rapid Response Team) on March 30th:

  • Fill gaps, cover breaks, communicate any problems/issues to event organizers, and adapt as needs change.

  • You will also be responsible for monitoring capacity, keeping entrances clear, and gently directing traffic during peak times.

Tearing down the event space in the early hours of March 31st:

This shift is never as difficult as it seems, mostly this entails throwing out trash and moving remaining swag, signage and decor into an Uber XL for one of us to take off-site.
